British 'Knight' Medium Axel by Norsehound British 'Knight' Medium Axel by Norsehound
Long after the British Army declined to use more of the American's AM-5s for thier army, they developed the "Chivalry" class Axel, which after several sucessors became the "Knight" class Axel, which still serves in the british army today.

The Knight in most respects to the American's AM-5 is newer, with newer technologies thrown in and a larger sensor suit. The Knight is also a little more robust than its american counterpart across the pond. The Knight has proven itself in combat on many occasions, from the Cupps Island conflict to the skirmish in Germany some years before when the Palastinians tried stealing a German prototype.

Pictured here is a British Knight from the 401st armored infantry platoon, based in Essex england. Also shown (Counter-clockwise from top), a FGM-27 "White Lance" Anti-Armor Rocket Launcher (6 rounds per magazine), An AZ-14 Assault Rifle (Semi-Automatic and Automatic modes available...almost an upscale MP5), holding a RK-8 Anti-Armor Rifle (Pictured with Standard, HEAT, and SABOT rounds), A Standard issue roundshield and a "slab" shield used in airdrop and desert deployments.

I agree, the head is a little small, but it is a nice design.

I also think it would have been cooler to have a Bren or Sten instead of an MP5.

It's not that hard to imagine them being in an Axel's hands instead really. I mean, after all, all an arms company has to do is upscale their current designs and sell them on the Axel-military market. I just did the MP5 to put some kind of assault rifle there- plus I thought the MP5 was cool :D

The MP5 is a submachine gun and it looks cool in a mech, I just love the Bren and Sten designs - classic British weapons :D

i like its design a bit better than the american am-5, except the head looks out of proportion to the rest of its body O_o
