Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Description
Remember that gargantuan Cylon vessel I made? The Mobile? Figured I'd do a mockup of that one too. Really drives home the threat of the cylons when an Imperial Star destroyer is but a speck next to one of them. The little dot to the left of the ISD is the mockup of Moore's Galactica.
Also made a shape for the Cylon Baseships (no, not Base Stars, since I want to be contrary to nBSG ). Like the original they spin, but this time both halves counter-rotate to one another as they move. They are also much bigger than Cylons as we knew them.
---------
So the Mobile is the ultimate expression of Cylon firepower. They were designed to destroy star systems by themselves by utterly obliterating the surfaces of defiant planets through missile bombardment. The colonials believe the Cylons have eight of them. One of them was tasked for the destruction of the colonies in my Epic Galactica outline, but the only other surviving Battlestar from Cimtar (The Solaria, from saggitaria) takes it on in a last stand against the Cylon menace and manages to ruin it. The blow was severe enough to Cylon planning the cylons pulled back and allowed humanity a second chance. If Epic were to ever go beyond wistful thinking and outlines, Galactica might encounter one of the other eight.
The little balloons drifting off to the right are the other new creation to the Galactica mythos; the Cyclus. These are 'little' scout ships that probe the extents of the Cylon alliance, searching for new targets or other things of interest. Rare in the Empire, they are common in the pursuit of the Galactica to assist the Cylons in running down the last remnants of mankind. Aside from fighters they are the smallest military vehicle in Cylon operation. They are about as big as a Star Destroyer.

Again love the work you are doing with your BSG World, it's a great inspiration for what I am working on. Wish I had your talent.
Love the idea of the Cylon Mobile and it's application. Kind of on scale with the Warstar but totally different mission.
Keep up the great work!
