Nice ^^ I've only read the first two books though, so I'm not familiar with all the factions (unless I missed something...) The spacing guild is an absolute no brainer, you can't miss it if you've read only even one of the books ^^

Herbert's books cover three distinct periods of DUNE history. The first three books are within the reign of Paul Muad'dib. The Forth book is set at the end of the reign of Paul's son, Leto, nearly a thousand years later. The fifth and sixth books are set another thousand years in advance. There's tons of rooms for many factions :)

The Spacing Guild and the Bene Geserit order are the two powers mentioned to some degree, though the Bene Geserit has a main character in every book. So are mentats, but not house Tleilaxu specifically.

Okay, I'm a huge Dune fan boy. I think I can do this.

Top from left to right:
-Bene Gesserit
-House Harkonnen
-House Atreides
-Spacing Guild

Middle from left to right:
-Sardaukar
-Fremen
-Ixian Confederacy
-Landsraad(?)

Bottom from left to right:
-Fish Speakers
-Honored Matres

I'm not completely sure, but hopefully I got it. Did I? This doesn't include those shitty prequels, sequels, and inbettween books made by his dipshit son and friend, do they? The ones with Terminator in space, the dumb House Vernius, and the insulting Paul of Dune shit. I also don't that green guy's for House Ordos from the games. They looked more freakishly Ix-Tleilaxu mixed looking. Honestly I'm not a fan to anything of Dune outside of the original six books. Those things are gold.

It would be more impressive if I hadn't revealed the answers already some posts up :) But you are correct.

I've played some of the games, but when it comes to books I'm not going outside the original six. I feel I'd be too disappointed.

Fish speakers and Honoured Matres at the bottom. I don't know who the green guy in the middle row is. Ixians? CHOAM?

Ixians should be obvious. He isn't CHOAM and Ordos is not represented.

Well, I would assume the blue is the Fish Speaker and the orange the Honoured Matre (orange/yellow outfits with dragons seemed to be their thing).

I'm actually working on making some Dune-based flags and banners, so I'm curious if there's a specific reason you chose that cross symbol for the Ixians? I've been having a tough time coming up with a good banner for them.

Ok, you got the Fish Speakers and Honored matres correct, so I'll give you the last ones. Ix is the grey guy with the big gun, but the teal guy with the maltese cross on his cap is a Landsraad representative. The Landsraad was one of the three optional factions in the 1978 Dune, so I wanted to include them for this rapid play version.
