And just to put your curiosity at ease, Pern is the only planet in Rukba's solar system which gains a name. No other information on the other planets is given throughout the entirety of the series (short stores and guide/companion books included).

I think what did it was when the books described the Yokohama as having a spherical section. Only one spacecraft I know of has a sphere as a large part of its structure

Funny that. Asteroids get named in "all the skies" before the planets do. Maybe in the future we can expect dragons to visit the other planets?
If I ever get my hands on the short story where the Amhurst appears I might draw that ship too.
