WSP-105 Wasp LAM

A story for those who don't know Battletech;

In the beginning when Battledroids used pirated imagry for their machines (From Macross, notably), they decided to create a kind of machine that could transform between three different modes of flight (Mech, Air'Mech, and Aerospace). They were called LandAir Mechs (LAM), and there were three: The Wasp, Stinger, and Phoenix Hawk. It is by no coincidence that all of them lift imagery from the VF-1 variants (VF-1S, VF-1A, and VF-1S with FAST packs respectively).

Apparently even before the legal issues struck the 'Unseen' down, Land-Air Mechs were becoming unpopular in the game. In-Universe, when the manufacturing facilities were largely destroyed (with one exception, until Clan Nova Cat burned every component down by hand), the design started to die out. They were apparently extinct by 3060 or so.

Still, since I'm revisiting the Unseen and drawing new versions to replace the pirated art (apologies to those with sentiments to the old design), when it came to the Wasp, Stinger, and Phoenix Hawk I wanted to create designs that could easily translate to their LAM counterparts, since I wanted there to be some logic behind the connection (according to the Lore, the Battlemechs came first, so it wasn't a simple case of redesigning the LAMs "Sans transformation gear"). I thought out and designed the transformation modes and movements for this one.

So here it is, the WASP.
